Android is an operating system that is used in the mobile phones, they are very popularly used in the smartphones and in the iphones. This operating system is also used in the tablet computers too; this was developed by the open handset alliance that was led by the Google. the android consists of the kernel is based on the Linux kernel that are written in the c programming language the android has a very large community that helps in creating new application to the software. The android has the dalvik virtual machine that helps the program in just in time compilation of the java codes. All the application that is developed for the android uses mostly the java codes in them. the features of the software is that they help in the layouts of the handsets that is a platform for the VGA, 2D graphic cards in them. The next comes the storage that is used in the software is the relational database that helps in the data storage. Android supports the technologies like the GSM, CDMA, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The other important feature is that they support for Multilanguage in them that is seen in the version of the gingerbread. Web browser that is used in them is the open source webkit layout engine. The y also support the media, streaming media, additional hardware support, multi-touch, video calling, multitasking and the screen capture in them.
